Record Demo Cant Open

Hello guys my problem is that when i try to record a demo it says cant open and i dont know why i put in console

record <demoname>

but i cant record

btw: i installed the cs 1.6 non steam with 10 digits steam that Ashba Recommend

HELPPPPP! I CANT RECORD HACKER!!!

Just write: record demoname (without the signs "<>")

This is will be an example:

Say that you saw me doing some crazy move and you wanted to record it right? So if you want to record it, you have to do the following:

1. Open the console
2. Type in record
3. Follow up that record command with the name of the demo that you like
4. Press Enter key and start recording

In the case that you like to play it back, you'll have to do the following:

1. Open the console
2. Type in playdemo
3. Follow up that playdemo command with the name of .dem file that you have on file
4. Enjoy your fruit
