I just said I like rock music and slipknot is rock not death metal or any other, but they sing a good shit that appeal me.

but no wonder when people say these kind of stuff, first of all slipknot is not rock but nu, progressive they even call themself heavy metal LOL. Its true all these are sub-genres of rock but slipknot follow extreme progressive trend that cuts them off from rock.

Some of the big daddies of rock are Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd etc etc these motherfuckers actually gave birth to rock music and eventually all subgenres.
