Never buy the turtle beach z11.... ive had for 5-6 months and 1 ear phone went out no big deal.... today they completely quit working.

LOL, I had a Microsoft headset and it worked for me for I don't know, maybe 3 three and it recently broken into unsalvageable pieces (*sobbing sound*), now I have a Beats that I use for both gaming and music so, I think that sometimes you do not need a high end headset to be good, I mean some people can be bad (me for example) with a good headset. So I think that it all boils down to how you play the game and I think that you should invest in something more durable to play with.

Ya, when i bought the z11 it had good performance reviews ( Guess i won't believe that)..... i am used for listening to small footsteps/silenced shots so i usually need a good headset but i think i may just go to local radio shack and buy a 20 buck pair there

my headphones are altech .. and work very fine to me.. and I bought it for $7 xd
