Obviously there's other factors (predisposition, etc), but ultimately I can probably allocate much of my nearsightedness to being on the computer all this time. (Although I did get Lasik surgery so I could become a pilot).
So has it affected your eyes?

I had problems with my eyesight when I was 6-12 years old because an accident. Currently my eyesight is pretty more good than before and I've been using computers since i was 6 years old (now i am 18) so I don't feel that it has affected my eyesight.

Hm... just saying, I have one good eye and one bad eye. The good one is on my right and the bad one is on my left. I have learn to use both without much issue. However, I think that most of the vision that I'm getting is from my right and that my left is just chilling out.

Many doctors recommend the use of special eye lens , remember there are studies that proof some lights of the computer can hurt eye vision , so is better to prevent to wait something happens

It's hard to tell if only the computer itself affects your eye sight. There's so many other things that can contribute to bad eye sight. I can say when I play for 4-5 hrs at a time my eyes might get strained and sometimes I feel like it causes a headache. But as far as my vision I don't really feel like the computer screen alone has negatively affected it.

it depends if you have a good eyesight and you dont spent more than 11 hours surfing the net or playing, it also varies the type of screen as you said recon there are many factors, ergonomics, diseases,etc
