no, everyone was great. not sure if you know these names (Destroyer, F4nG, McCloud, McColgin47, and fk i forgot the last one's name). We were doing well prior to that CPL, won every LAN we went to to prepare for CPL. Mill was one of our strong maps too and we thought we had it down. In LAN tourneys, unless your opponents are complete scrubs, which team w/ best coordination/teamwork will win.
We won CT side fairly easily, 10-2. T side was one of those string of bad lucks.
we won pistol round, but then got careless w/ trying to do stupid shit. so we lost 2nd round. we didn't get any breaks on any of the full buy rounds, a lot of time came down to 2v2 or 1v1, and wasn't able to pull it off.
NoA ended up in top3 i think, but I was too pissed after that CPL and decided to disband the squads/teams after that. we had #1 ranked Halo (CAL) and #1 ranked CoD (CAL) at the same time, but CS was the main group.
I miss those days, everything seems much simpler. No mortgage and not much responsibilities. We were traveling to different LAN tournaments as a team, whole team travel in to town for few months to prepare for CPL. Fun times...
Fatality stayed w/ me for couple weeks when he was preparing for one tourney that he won a car for UT2K3.
