Hey guys!! or... what is left of the guys i used to know ! , this is a small announcement about me, not trying to make you feel sorry or bad for me, you guys know i hate those "farewell threads" full of "Thank you XXX" and "wish me luck". I just think everyone here deverves an explanation. 


The thing is that i've been here for so long, and let's be honest, i haven't done shit for the past 2 years, the last thing i remember was creating a christmas theme for the forum and then nothing... i never created or even TRIED to create a theme with the newest MyBB Version, let's say i became lazy as fuck. A few weeks ago i found out that i couldn't even restart a damn server, my linux skills are awful and i didn't try to learn. 

I even had a few arguments with Spirit, well, even when those "fights" were BsK related, it didn't feel good to argue with my best friend knowing that i was wrong all the time.  My pride was making me blind.  

"BsK is not the same"  is not a valid argument to leave, so don't think that is my main reason, because we make it different, players make it different, we just needed to find the right ones, with help from everyone, not just 2 or 3 per month. 

two times we tried to turn BsK into a multi-gaming community and it didn't work, that is when i started feeling like i didn't wanna be here anymore, everytime my plans go wrong my pride gets attacked so bad i just wanna hide and disappear, it's a personal thing... my closest friends will understand.

Being an owner is one the most important tasks in every sort of community and i don't deserve it, If i were a member or an admin, i'd say without hesitation: "why the fuck is DJ an owner if he's never around". I was in that spot guys... i was a member criticizing owners and highers and now i've become what i used to hate !! i'm lazy as hell... 


Welp, i think we all know what is going on here. BsK is going through some kind of crisis because most of our beloved  members never donate ( including myself )
So as a last favor, i ask everyone in here to help. if you feel that you belong here and you love this logo and motto, then grab your credit card and make yourself relevant. But in the case you DON'T WANT TO DONATE, then just leave. for christ sake, just leave as i did. 

Phaze and $pirit are two awesome guys and they are trying their best to keep this alive, trust them and listen to 'em 

I think this is the best way ever to leave, accepting my faults and not being the "best in the world" "nobody can judge me" piece of crap that i've been for the last 2 years

I'm sick of free loaders. It seems like people don't care about the other ones, as long as they get what they want for free. We haven't received enough donations in the past 5 months that would be sufficient to cover the hosting cost, and I didn't even consider the boosting expense. This is about the time when I say enough is enough. I refuse to break my pocket anymore for all the free loaders.

You all want to keep the servers open then consider donating. Our monthly cost comes around ~40 bucks each month. Boosting costs around ~20 for a week. I'll put the ball in your court. You donate, servers will stay up; if not then it will depend on my mood. Our next payment is due on the first of next month. I hope some of you would be generous enough to consider donating.

Our Classic server has been converted into a PUG server. There was some demand for PUG/Scrim type server, and Classic population has been down for a while, so why not?

So its official guys the greatest gaming community on the planet is now over 4 years old! I can't believe its been that long already! (im getting old ). We have came a lot over the past 4 years and i wanted to make this post to reflect back and to see where we have gone and whats next.

So i will start by saying BsK is not what it was 4 years ago. I never thought when i joined this little group that it would grow into this great big community it has today! I am proud to be an owner of this great empire we have created and i will continue to help us grow as we go though this time machine together...   Ok enough of the mushy stuff lets look at this past year:
 
We have had a lot of changes this year as people have came people have gone and some have came back. We have been moving around a bit as we have expended locations to better suit players location's and latency's. We now have 3 locations instead of just one. Our Hybrid server is still in Atlanta our most popular server dust2 has moved from Atlanta to Chicago and our classic server while was moved to Chicago for a short time we decided change and move it to Dallas. This gives us a good chance to pick up new players all around the world.

We also have been trying a few other games aside from our beloved cs 1.6, we gave CSGO a try with our gun game server but we had to remove it due to inactivity. We are still thinking of some other server possibility's but these will have to wait for now as we focus on one game at a time, and right now as im sure you all can see cs 1.6 needs our love. I would like to add another cs 1.6 server this year but i am going to first focus on our current servers and player base that is if you haven't noticed almost totally depleted.

We have had a lot of work done to our website. We have updated almost everything this year and will continue to as this new year comes. I would like to give a special thanks to our r&d as he has worked his ass off this year with us to help make all this possible.

Like i said we will be thinking of some new possibility's this year for servers and/or new games ect. So i would like to hear ALL of your input/thoughts about this past year and this upcoming year and also what else we can accomplish as a team. Also if you have some old screenshots post up lets see what we used to look like...

QR CODES!

some people might not know what a QR code is, it is simple. It is a image that can be scanned with a QR CODE app from your phone. the code holds information that can lead to sites, to a number to text, even to .mp3 files!

When someone see's something strange, they take a picture of it correct? well QR codes is kind of the same! they scan the code with the app to see what it goes to! the more hits/exposure we get, the higher our site gets on the search engines like Google!

I have made a QR code that goes to the site! it is in my signature, and right below this line!

This is one way to get exposure, so put it everywhere you can! Facebook, Twitter, Emails!!!!

I don't even have to look at logs to know whats been going on we all can see activity has been low almost inactive i would say...

Well lets look at for real what dose this tell me...
It tells me that some of you are really busy and i thank you for still taking the time to come here still
It tells me what we all know the truth cs 1.6 is dying (prob be dead if not for us few bad asses ) ... but for real...
It tells me that current player base is low and weak at best...
It tells me that our current admins are not playing on a daily.... or shit weekly basis for that matter... Admins need to be active...
It tells me that clan members don't play on a daily nor give a sht as far as i see.... im not going to go on about this because if you don't get it you will real soon.
It tells me that we need real players not "boosted bots"
It tells me that i need to be more on top of things and the roster is what im talking about...
And just to make a point im going to ask all Clan-members and up must respond to this message with your name and rank! That includes highers i want everyone to post your rank in here please.
