Allow me to welcome some new faces into the Server Manager team.
 
@Vz^  - Official Server Manager

Official Server has been one of the most stable servers as of late, all credit to its admin team. Vz has been handed the charge for Official server due to his activity and ability to handle situations.

@Sakurai - Dust2 24/7 Server Manager

As active as anyone can get, that's what you represent. Your level of activity with a great ban record has allowed you to reach this position. Its not easy to handle BsK's most popular server, but you have shown that you have what it takes to get the job done.

@MartinGarrix - Hybrid Server Manager

You took charge of hyrbid server and made it work, when everyone else was focused on more popular servers . Hybrid may not come close to Dust2 in players, but it does have its own niche and you owe a major share in that server's success.

@BsK.|-|VN| Elly Tran Ha - Zombie Server Manager

Let me begin by saying that, you are annoying as hell, but if we over look that one bad quality, you are gold. Always active on Zombie server, donating money to keep that server active and reporting server bugs. Those 3 qualities are the reason, why you are put in charge of Zombie Server. Keep up the great work.

@Vega - Dust2/Inferno Server Manager

Don't need to say much here. An old time BsK member, who has been in high positions before and done well. You are handed the charge of BsK's newest server. Let's see what kind of new ideas you have in store for the benefit of the server.
Current Server Managers I would like to request all SMs to read the map assessment thread and present the assessment report by tomorrow. Once again, I would like to welcome you all to your new roles.

This will be a new responsibility for Server Managers. As the name suggests, SMs will be required to make assessment based on map performance on 1st of every month for their respectable server. A thread will be made in forum dedicated to each server. The title will state server identifier (Classic, Official, Dust2, Hybrid, Zombie or Dust2/Inferno) and the month of assessment.

Example:
Classic Assessment - February

Your assessment will be based on following factors.

  • How well the current maps are doing traffic wise? Do we need to remove any from map cycle?
  • Are there 32 or more working spawn points on the map? 
  • Do we need to block any areas of the maps? An example would be the cubby above double doors in Dust2.
  • Do we need camping meter or camp zone for any of the maps? This doesn't mean strategic camping, but spots like tower right above T spawn on cbble.
  • SM, admins and regulars of the server can request addition of the new maps. These additions need to be approved by SM and be in touch with the over all feel of the server. Do not request aim maps on Classic. ( Just to give an example)
  • Finally, What would be the duration of the new maps? Would they be added on default timelimit(30 min) or they need a lower timelimit for players to get used to them?
Few factors may not be applicable to all servers, simply ignore them. An assessment must be made, regardless if any change is needed or not. I would also like to stress on this very important detail while choosing new maps. Don't pick a map that you would like to play, pick the map that has a mass appeal.
Some of the chosen few would be promoted to SM spots today, and highers will be expecting the assessment report from you. We need to see an assessment report for each server, no longer than tomorrow. (2-2-2015)

Server performance is the direct reflection of SMs work. This will have a direct effect on you being moved up or down the chain of authority.

Ok, so there has been a lot of questions about ranks and responsibilities for quite some time, especially with newer members moving through the ranks.

I have been wanting a new thread/update because there have been several changes since Waka posted the last Rank Responsibility thread years ago. I in no way take credit for this, mostly because it is a redo/recreation of several other threads. The highers and I have added several new bullet points to the list of responsibilities. I expect everyone to read, understand, and follow all of these rules. If you have any questions, ask a higher immediately to avoid confusion or negligence.

BANISHED SOLDIERS KLAN UPDATED RULES & RANK RESPONSIBILITIES
“If it’s hard, we do it; If it’s impossible, it just takes us longer”

• Owners Responsibilities:
o This Position is assigned to the Owners of the community and servers. Their responsibility is to work on server and forum issues, server and forum updates and upgrades. Find resources to make our community work effectively and grow.
o Assign admins
o Find Donators
o Look for ways to increase server population
o All decisions and actions made by members regarding community must be approved by owners.
• Co-Owner Responsibilities:
o This position is assigned to person who can donate more than $20 per month (Exceptions can be made)
o Co-owners act as the community representative while owners are away, or not present in/on the servers/forum
o Co-Owner has permission to make any decision, or take any action, as long as it will not affect, contradict, or go against decisions made by an owner
o As owner's right arm, Co-Owner has a responsibility and obligation to work to improve the community and make sure other members will follow server and forum rules
o Find ways and resources to make our community work better
o Assign admins
o Find Donators
o Look for ways to update servers and forum and ways to increase server population
• Research & Development (R&D) Responsibilities:
o Diagnose and resolve server and forum issues
o Complete routine server and forum maintenance
o Find new Plug-Ins to keep our server's populated
o Prevent servers from crashing
o Help with suggestions for new server mods/plug-ins/changes/updates
o Give statistics of server population monthly and make adjustments to improve population/traffic .
o Wear BsK.| tag at all times and keep the same name in-game as in-forum
• Chief of Staff (CoS) Responsibilities:
o All Clan Member, Admin, Server Manager, Staff, and Manager responsiblities+
o This position is assigned to a person who can be the Managers & Staffs representative in front of Owners
o CoS has permission to deal with managers and staff and have whole control of them.
o If any problem is caused by a Manager or Staff that affects servers or forum performance, CoS must deal with the problem by punishing the Staff or Manager and explaining the problem to the Owners.
o CoS, just like Co-Owner, has the responsibility and obligation to work to improve the community and make sure the other members will follow server and forum rules.
o Assign Admins
o Find Donators
o Look for ways to update servers and forum and find ways to increase population
o Moderate forums (For Example; make decisions in clan apps, server manager apps, unban appeal and admin apps)
o Set up Admins
o Post demo with-in 24 hours of unban appeal
o Wear BsK.| tag at all times and keep the same name in-game as in-forum
o Occasionally check demos in unban appeal section and hacker/reporting section to minimize chances of the ban mistakes
• Manager Responsiblities:
o Clan Member, Admin, Server Manager, and Staff Responsibilities+
o Help with ideas and suggestions on improving servers and forum performance
o Help by donating every month (Exceptions can be made in regards to donations)

o After 4 positive votes over the negative votes, Managers are Free to Accept Admin Applications and contact the player.
o Help increase server population.
o Set up Admins
o Add/Change amxbans accounts for new Staff
o Post demo with-in 24 hours of unban appeal
o Wear BsK.| tag at all times and keep the same name in-game as in-forum
• Staff Responsibilities:
o This position is assigned to active members who support servers and forum and who donate any amount monthly (Exceptions are made in regards to donations)
o Clan Member, Admin, and Server Manager Responsibilities+
o Keep an eye on server and forum conditions
o Answer posts
o Close and move threads
o Contribute to forum and server updates with new ideas, suggestions, and designs
o Check background of Members/Registered that apply for Admin/Clan Member position. (For Example; If they have VAC ban on record, bad reputation in other communities, multiple ban records, multiple accounts on the same I.P. Address, bans in our servers, etc…)
o Check all new registers on forum and post in registration log thread
o Assign Admins and report in server admin log thread
o Moderate forum (Such as; making unban appeal decisions with Server Managers, clan app decisions, admin app decisions, server manager apps, moving threads to correct forums/sub-forums, etc…)
o Staff can Vote +1 or -1 in Admin Applications with the reasons. After 4 positive votes over the negatives Managers are Free to Accept the Admin application and contact the player.
o Add/Change amxbans accounts for new Admins and Server Managers
o Review demos in hacker/reporting thread and add confirmed hackers to amxbans
o Set up Admins
o Post demo with-in 24 hours of unban appeal
o Staff Commenting a Clan App:
-You are able to decide a clan app after checking IP and previous posts, tell applicant to use the tag and give the player a link to our Code of Conduct. Not one staff is able to revoke clan members, that decision must be made by a combination of 3 staff members or one higher.
o Wear BsK.| tag at all times and keep the same name in-game as in-forum
• Server Manager Responsibilities:
o Clan Member and Admin Responsibilities+
o Report server issues
o Look for ways to update servers and forum and find ways to increase population
o Report admin abuse or Admin negligence (not completing admin responsibilities)
o Assist Staff and up when asked
o Help on forums [For Example; Handle unban apps, give OPINIONS, not decisions, in clan apps and admin apps (+1 or -1 and a reason)]
o Answer questions from Admins and Clan Members
o Assist Staff and up when asked
o Assist Admins with commands and their responsibilities
o Review demos in hacker/reporting thread, give opinion, and add confirmed hackers to amxbans
o Set up Admins
o Give input in any admin app that relates to delegated server
o Post demo with-in 24 hours of unban appeal
o Wear BsK.| tag at all times and keep the same name in-game as in-forum
• Donator Responsibilities:
o All Clan Member responsibilities +
o Donate at least 6$ per month
o Police/Regulate the servers by reprimanding players when needed;
o Reprimand players for
- Hacking (Such as; wallhacking, aimbotting, speedhacking, multi-hacking, etc…)
- Using offensive language detrimental to the community/other players (For Example; disrespecting members or community, using racist words/names, bullying, etc…)
- Being AFK(Away From Keyboard)
- Making sure players are attempting to/completing the objective of their respective team (For Example: Counter-Terrorists defuse the bomb and Terrorists plant the bomb)

o Report hackers
o Report admin abuse
o Help other clan members and players
o Advertise our community and servers (Without breaking rules in other communities)
o Help the community with new information and suggestions
o Maintain activity in forums and servers
o Assist Admins and up when asked
o Assist registered users on forums and players on servers when needed
o Clan Member Commenting a Clan Application
-You are only able to give your opinion from your experience with applicant, but you cant vote.
o Wear BsK.| tag at all times and keep the same name in-game as in-forum

hey, Guys just i wanna say that if i can be part of the clan again. Because i check the Roster and i was on retire member for leave the cs. sometimes i was just checking the forum to see the new things of the clan,and my question was if i can use the Tag of the clan again, i wanna come back to the clan. I was not active lately because I was getting bored the cs lately, but now is calling me the attention again start playing again whit my favorite clan and help the clan and this is the only one that i know that is the best. i wait answers Smile

  New Server/Server Change!

For those of you that don't already know, we have been discussing changing the BsK.| Throwback NO AWP -BSoldiers.com because of a lack of popularity/traffic. After the discussions, we have decided to try changing it to a Dust2 and Inferno 24/7 Server. The intentions of changing the server are to gain more popularity/traffic. We did decide against Multi-Jump, for the moment, because of the many exploits that could be used on Inferno. We are hoping this server does well, but if it doesn't we are willing to make other adjustments in the future.

Also, we need admins to police this server. The requirements are at least 10 confirmed hacker reports and 20 valid posts (not including spam).
