Fatal Error > Could Not Load LIbrary

Hey all,

Everytime I try to start Counster-Strike 1.6 it fails to open and an error message saying Could Not Load Libary shows up.

I have already logged out of and exited out of steam and re-opened and logged in. I have already uinstalled and reinstalled CS 1.6. I have deleted the appcache in steam folder and then restarted steam. I have already validated steam files. I have already made sure the Beta option is turned off. I have already restarted my computer.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or does anyone know how to resolve the issue?

I have the same problem here. I think that Steam/Valve is updating something and I don't think that it's doing the right thing...

Ok, thanks everyone. Glad its not just me, was getting very frustrating. Let me know if anyone sees/has a fix.

Solucion:
Paso 1: Desactivar las actualizaciones automaticas del Counter Strike
Paso 2: Descargar el siguiente archivo http://www.mediafire.com/download/i6zoyo...strike.rar
Paso 3: Descomprimir y borrar config.cfg de la carpeta cstrike descomprimida
paso 4: Copear la carpeta cstrike y pegarla en C:\Program Files x86\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life\
El ultimo paso seria sobrescribir los archivos.

solution:
Step 1: Turn off automatic updates of Counter Strike
Step 2: Download the following file http://www.mediafire.com/download/i6zoyo...strike.rar
Step 3: Unzip and delete config.cfg from the unzipped folder cstrike
Step 4: Copy the cstrike folder and paste it in C: \ Program Files x86 \ Steam \ SteamApps \ common \ Half-Life \
The last step would be to overwrite the files.

For security make a backup of the folder will change, you never know what can happen

There's no Way to fix it, please dont download any patch outside valve original files... it may spy your game, fuk your CS, steal your account, NEVER fix an original Game purchased on steam with Cracked Patches.

Read the Steam Discussion about the Game number 10 (CS 1.6 ) they're saying it is because of the update, must be resolved with the next update they should release today or tomorrow because of the critics of the latest update, Just wait and Play CS GO or something else

thats all...

But as ashba said... thats only a temp problem... VALVE will solve this ASAP... this is only a error on roots...

I didn't plan on downloading it. Thanks for the advice though. When I said if anyone knew how to fix it or let me know if there is a fix I meant when steam has a fix.
