Patience, Patience, and More Patience

#1
Hello my fellow clan member and new registered user of Banished Soldiers Klan. I would like to make this thread so that you guys know what it means to be patient. As many of you have heard of a saying: Patience is a virtue. That saying is meant for people who are always want to rush things that and that they always want things that they wanted like very quickly. A good example of this person is Donato. He was a clan member that wanted to be admin and that he made so many applications to become admin and that in one week, he made three application to be an admin. Due to the fact that we have a requirements for clan member to become admin and that the requirements are still in effect even if we are in a recruiting period. So if you are patient you will be guaranteed to get what you want in a timely manner.

To reinforce that, I would also like to add that many of us here have a life to tend to like family, school, and real life friends to hang out with. Counter-Strike 1.6 is just an entertainment and that it should be enjoyed with responsibility just like alcohol for those who drink. If you were to play Counter-Strike 1.6 all day long everyday, that I would highly suggest that you take a short stroll around your neighborhood and have some sunshine on your skin. That small action will make you a better person in that you will see what is happening around you and that if there were to be something interesting, you will be able to share it with your friends both on the forum and with your real life friends. That being said, I would like to state that if you say that your life revolves around Counter-Strike 1.6 and any game in the genre for that matter. Then you should seriously think about what you wanted to be when you were a child and compare that to the state that you are currently in and ask yourself: Will I be able to achieve my dream if I keep on doing things this way? If you were to answer "No" to that question, I would suggest that you quit the game and re-evaluate your priority in your life.

You may ask how does that have to do with patience. I am here to tell you that if you are not patient in your life, then it will literally impossible to be patient on something that is not meant to be top priority in your life. What I am trying to get is that if you find yourself getting impatient after waiting on a line for a service at your local government office or school office for only 1 minute, then you really need to work on your patience as that in most cases, if you are patient, your turn will come to you quicker in that during that wait period, you can do other things that will help you pass the time quicker and that by the time you are called to meet with the person serving you, you will be in a better mood and in a better state of mind overall.

With all of that being said, you guys might wonder how do I cope with waiting and why am I writing all of these for you guys to read. I first would like to say that I have been on both ends of serving people and being served. Because I have worked at a waiter at a restaurant and that I can only do so much at a given amount of time and that I was sometimes rushed by my customer for drinks and refill of their drink. Due to that experience, I know that when I walk into a restaurant at a time when they are busy, I know I need to be patient and wait from my server to come to me and not to rush them. By not rushing them, they would often provide better service or a service level that you will be able to accept as they would have less stress to deal with at any given time. Due to the fact that people under stress would often perform under the level that they would normally perform, by giving them some slack will make a world of difference to them in that they will remember you better and be more happy to serve you next time when you visit the place.

Finally, I would like to say thank you guys for taking your time reading this. To my fellows, if I were to miss anything in this thread, please feel free to add to my thread and make as robust as possible.
