maybe is because even if you uninstalled the cs, the counter strike folder is still save in app data and in program files

I recommend you to uninstall the cs strike and then go to program files and check if the Counter Strike Folder still there if it is there proceed to erase it then use some kind of program like Ccleaner to erase trash and registrys. after that install the cs again hope this help

when you uninstalled and installed cs, again there is an error
