The wounded man.

"Wound Man" was a drawing that was played during the middle ages in the books of Anatomy and surgery. The idea was to show the possible injuries that a human body could suffer in battles and accidents and that could endure.

In keeping with the image of the wounded man were texts explaining the injury and, often, the procedures that should be taken for healing.

The practice of this type of design is kept until the 17th century and was later abandoned in favor of more advanced imaging and faithful.
